1942 Martin 00-17
$7,800
Of the dozens of pre-war 0 and 00-17s we’ve had over the decades. I would have to think this is the best one. Virtually unplayed, the playability is spot on, I think i’ve never had a mahogany top Martin Ithat sounds like this . There are a few minor dents in the back from laying on a table that keep it from being near mint. Hard to imagine a nicer one.

Everything about this guitar is a perfect and virtually unplayed. 16 inch Lower Bout, 24 three-quarter inch scale, one 11/16 nut. Not sure what the pick up is but it sure sounds good. Here is a bit of history about him.: Carl Barney is a highly respected New York and Connecticut-based luthier...

1946 Martin 000-21
$25,000
This is one of the first guitars Martin made in 1946 and is essentially a 45 in all respects. Ad top, Ebony finger board and bridge, identical to the 1945 000-21 that I own. It is in ridiculously excellent condition and appears to be virtually unplayed. It has had a perfect neck set, and is an absolute cannon as one might expect. The two things worth mentioning.: the crappy original tuners have...

1957 Gibson ES 175
$11,000
This is the cleanest, nicest, best playing example of a one PAF 175 I could find, having had pretty much every other kind of PAF arch top before I finally gave up and decided I’m strictly a P 90 guy. I acquired this from a good friend of mine a couple of years ago. The tuners appear as if they could be original, but obviously not, as the originals are in a bag in the pocket of the case.. Pretty...

1935 Gibson L12
$4,500
This is one of the first cool vintage guitarsI acquired when we first went into business in the 70s. It needed a neck set and the fingerboard extension lowered, which is all now completed and over the ensuing years, and the thousands of guitars we bought and sold, I just never got this one out of the closet. I’ve had it about 45 years, finally in my old age just had all that done. This is the...
