Yamaha YTR-8335HS B♭trumpet

Without this model, the Yamaha trumpet of today might be on a completely different track! The 8335H series, released in 1986, was the foothold for the Xeno series.

[Overview]
Yamaha B♭Trumpet. custom H series made in 1980's. 123mm one-piece yellow brass bell. Nickel silver & brass 2-piece valve casing. 11.65mm ML bore. Silver plated finish. Instrument weight 1100 grams. Accessories: Yamaha double hard case of the period.

[Condition.]
Valve casing has minor plating and pinholes; plating is floating on the No. 3 insert tube and the upper joint tube of the tuning connection tube; plating is peeling on the inside of the No. 3 insert tube finger ring; minor dents and repair marks are scattered on the bell body and bell flare. Small shallow dents on the bell body and bell flare. Other minor scuff marks and polishing scratches from normal use can be seen throughout. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned and all soft parts have been replaced. All parts have been serviced.

[Features]
The 8335H series trumpets in stock were introduced in 1986 as a heavy-type custom model with increased hardness and thickness in the mouthpipe, middle tube, and body from the base of the bell. The heavy type means that the weight was increased compared to the trumpets that Yamaha had been producing up to that time, and is equivalent to the current Xeno model. The bore size was reduced by 0.03mm from Yamaha's ML bore of 11.68mm, which was manufactured at that time, and this shows the designer's attention to detail.
