Kenji Kitajima is admired by many guitarists. It is a well-known story that he has been active as a professional guitarist since he was 19 years old, and formed FENCE OF DEFENSE in 1985 with Satoshi Nishimura and Wataru Yamada. The core of their sound was the signature model KK-1, which was jointly developed with Yamaha.
This KK-1 is a Yamaha SGBassThe KK-1 is based on the Yamaha SG, but with a smaller body, mahogany back, and maple top. The KK-1 also features a maple set neck construction, which provides both a rich midrange and high playability. The Floyd Rose patent bridge and lock nut ensure stable tuning even during intense arming play.
