2016 Wilborn Lion Cutaway "O" Size Natural

Wonderful little "O" size cutaway guitar featuring Ben Wilborn's exquisite build quality. The highest quality Cedar top and handpicked Rosewood back and sides. Ben is a talented builder out of Reno, Nevada. His guitars are world renowned and many have been sold through Dream Guitars. His prices for these guitars now start at 10k and a long wait. This Lion is 12 fret with a Florentine cutaway, a beautiful sound port, and comfortable bevel. It also has a superb sounding passive Trinity K&K installed. Nut width is 1-3/4" and the string spacing is 2-1/4". Action is perfect 3x2 with a lot of saddle remaining. There is a clear pick guard. There is a small scrape at the bottom of the top which is barely noticeable. This Wilborn Lion, offers up a small-bodied guitar whose Cedar and Rosewood build contains a heady charge of projection, silky overtones, and warm fundamentals across the sound spectrum. An impressive guitar on looks alone from the Abalone sound hole trim to the dark bevel and headstock veneer, this Lion hits the right sounds for inspiration at the drop of a hat with a delightfully responsive playability thanks to the short scale and Ben’s oval C shape neck.
