1956 Velazquez #175 in excellent condition. This Velazquez is all original and has no history of repairs. This guitar was constructed with a spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard and Brazilian rosewood headstock veneer, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The neck has a width of 55 mm at the nut, a depth of 0.90” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.00” at the ninth fret. The guitar has a 650 mm scale and weighs 3.24 lbs. Velazquez has stated that 1956 was the best year for his guitars, and this extremely clean example, featuring a varnish finish, produces a wonderful sound and is a testament to that sentiment. Comes with the original brown checked hardshell case.
