Tokai Silver Star SS60-YSR 1982 Sunburst Vintage Made in Japan MIJ w/ Bag

This Tokai Silver Star SS60 is estimated to be from around 1982. Unlike some of the other SS models produced from around this time, this guitar has a 4-bolt neck plate and does not have the bullet style truss rod. A shim has been added in the neck pocket for a better neck angle, otherwise this guitar plays well with medium action. 

This guitar does show some signs of cosmetic wear from over the years. The body shows various scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout with additional dings on the headstock. The hardware and screws show some normal tarnish from over time and the tone knobs have also aged. The frets show normal play wear from over the years with some minor fret buzz up on the 19th fret coming from the A and D strings. The frets otherwise play great along the rest of the neck and the electronics work as they should.

The middle tone pot has been replaced and the tremolo arm and volume knob have also been added. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
