Taylor Guitars' products are manufactured primarily in El Cajon, California and Tecate, Mexico.
The Academy-200 Taylor guitars are made in Tecate, and the 300's and up are made in El Cajon, which allows for greater control over the woods and products used.
The 2003 Taylor 110 introduced here was produced at the Tecate factory.
The top is made of veneer Sitka spruce and the sides and back are made of sapelli.
The third digit in the name indicates the body size, with 0 meaning dreadnought.
The bright and clear high frequency range characteristic of Taylor guitars symbolizes the tone of Taylor guitars, and even though the factory is different, the craftsmanship of Taylor Guitars can be felt in this guitar.
