This stunning Pedulla 40th Anniversary Mark Egan Signature 5-string bass is a rare example from one of the finest boutique builders of the modern era. Crafted to celebrate Pedulla’s four decades of innovation (1975–2015), this instrument blends high-end appointments with a refined, studio-ready voice.
It features a highly figured 5A flame maple top over a maple neck-through-body construction, finished in a deep transparent blue that brings out every nuance of the grain. The ebony fingerboard and gold hardware elevate its sleek, modern look, while Bartolini PJ pickups and the proprietary Pedulla electronics system deliver clarity, warmth, and flexibility across a wide tonal spectrum.
This particular bass is in overall very good condition and includes the original hardshell case. The nut was recently replaced by a professional. However, prior to that, an attempt was made to fit an oversized bone nut, which resulted in some sanding behind the headstock. That area has been touched up and is shown clearly in the photos. It is purely cosmetic and has no effect on the structural integrity or playability of the instrument.
Weight is well balanced and comfortable, coming in at just under 9.5 lbs. Whether you’re a collector, studio player, or live performer, this bass represents a significant piece of boutique bass craftsmanship and musical legacy.

Returns on New items are accepted (unless noted in the description), and must occur within 4 days from when you receive the item. (buyer must notify us that they will be returning the item within 4 days of receiving the item, or return will be void) Buyer pays for shipping cost , Buyer is responsible for returning the item undamaged, we can provide return label which cost will be deducted from the refund owned to the buyer. A 10% restocking fee will also be assessed upon return of the item. We reserve the right to refuse refund if item is not returned in the same condition it was originally shipped to the buyer.
