An old kotsuzumi (kotsuzumi old copper drum). It is thought to have been made in the Edo period. There are 11 steps of kanna (planer) on the body. Maki-e is thought to have been done in later period. The weight of the cylindrical body is 395 grams. It comes with a box with maki-e (The metal fittings on the lid of the box are easy to come off.)
