A pair of old leather for kotsuzumi (small drums). It is thought to have been made from the late Edo period to the Meiji period. No pouch, cord, etc. are included. Only the leather is for sale.
[Condition]
Washi is attached to the edge of the iron ring to cover the koshiki on the back of the leather. There is a mixture of parts that can be removed by crunching by hand and parts that are firmly glued. To remove all of it, you will have to wet the washi. It will be delivered in its current condition. There are no deep scratches or tears in the leather. There do not seem to be any thread breaks in the Senzetsu, Jyuroku, or Bunshinshi, but the areas where the washi is glued tightly together cannot be confirmed.

This is an old leather that is well fitted and shows signs of having been moderately beaten. If it were in normal condition, it would be priced at 200,000 yen or more, but due to the reason of Washi pasting, it is offered at a low price.
