The design and balance of the kotsuzumi kodoh are excellent, and the maki-e depicting an amishiro (cattle) cart being pulled under the cherry blossoms in full bloom is also splendid.

[Outline]
This is an old kotsuzumi (small drum) body. It seems to be made in the Meiji period. Maki-e on the body also seems to be made in the same period. The weight of the cylindrical body is 442 grams. Comes with a black lacquered box.

[Condition]
It is in good condition with no noticeable flaws or scratches. There is no peeling or floating damage on the maki-e.

[Features]
The body of this kotsuzumi is made of dense and heavy cherry wood. The maki-e on the body of a small drum is made of dense and heavy cherry wood.
