Japanese wah pedal from the 1970s!
This is a Japanese wah pedal from 1970's. The brand is unknown because there is no description. This pedal has a strong low and a strong hook. Unlike normal wah pedals, this pedal has a "w" on the heel side and a "u" on the toe side, which is also worth mentioning. The chrome-plated chassis of this model makes a strong impression from its appearance, and it is believed to be an OEM product of Nisshin Sonoha Manufacturing, which is well known for its "Maxon" brand. Other brand names such as the popular "Ibanez," "Guyatone," and "MICA" were also exported overseas. At that time, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) by Shin-ei Denki, known as Univive, Nisshin Oto, Keio Giken, etc., was very active, and the exact details are not known. The battery lid is rusted due to battery leakage at that time, but it can be opened and closed. There is no particular problem in operation.
There is a missing bush rubber, a set screw has been replaced, and there is a leakage mark of battery.
