MTD 534-24 10-Top 5-String Bass, Red Fade Sunburst

A stunning addition to any serious bass player's collection, the fantastic MTD 534-24 10-Top 5-string electric bass guitar is as awe-inspiring as it gets — complete with all of the functionality of a powerful bass and matched by the outstanding style and grace of masterful MTD-craftsmanship. Built in America, this bass features a Red Fade Sunburst satin finish with a set of black hardware and gold frets.

The MTD 534-24 is built from an ash solidbody with a wicked myrtlewood burl 10-Top, as well as an offset body shape and a matching headstock and control knobs. The flat D-profile neck is made from maple, and it's home to a striped ebony fingerboard. The fingerboard is as slick and smooth as ever, home to twenty-four golden frets with special Luminlay side dots that can be activated with a provided LED capability.

The awesome MT8 proprietary MTD preamp and Bartolini pickups voice this bass, giving you a fat, wide and solid sound that will shake the ground before you. The controls as a master volume with push/pull active/passive setup and a pan pot, passive tone, mid and with push/pull 400/800 switching, stacked treble/bass cut and boost, with a center click from neck to bridge. The dual three-way switches select series/single coil/parallel for each pickup, and there is a trim pot on the inside of the control cavity to adjust the gain. The revolutionary Buzz Feiten tuning system keeps your tuning stabilized perfectly.
