Crafted with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides and a solid spruce top, it delivers deep bass and rich overtones, while its Grand Auditorium body size ensures plenty of comfort and projection, combining the thickness of a 000 with the width of a Jumbo. Its standard taper mahogany neck and full-thickness profile give the M-7 a distinct feel for fluid transitions and complex chords. Marr’s history with Martin guitars is storied – his beloved 1971 D-28 has been the backbone of countless classics by The Smiths, including “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out.”
