A 00-size body with Style 28 appointments, solid Sitka Spruce top with Martin’s VTS (Vintage Tone System) treatment, protein glue construction, solid Indian Rosewood back, sides, and headplate, scalloped X-braces, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard inlaid with abalone long-pattern diamond-and-square markers, 24.9” scale length with 1 13/16” nut width, and 2 1/4” string spacing at the ebony pyramid bridge. Add to all this Martin’s cutting-edge Modern Deluxe series features including Liquidmetal bridge pins, a composite carbon fiber bridge plate (yes this earlier model has it), and the very comfortable vintage deluxe neck profile with high-performance taper. Big but still articulate and intimate tone, premium materials and outstanding build quality. Comes with the original Geib-style hard case.
