本モデルはMB社の強みである"軽量で頑丈"を活かしつつ、フタ部分のみをソフトタイプにした仕様。実重量では800gの軽量化に成功していますが、体感ではより軽く感じられるはず。
フタ部分がソフトとは言え、やはりさすがはマーカスボナ。一般的なソフトケースよりもはるかに頑丈な上、フタ部分にはハードタイプのスライドケースがついているため、ソフト感はほとんど感じさせません。
一般的なバストロンボーンはほとんど収納可能ですが、セイヤーやハグマンバルブ系の一部モデルではロータリーレバーがフタ部分に触れてしまうため、おすすめ出来ないモデルもございますので、ご注意ください。
