The TONE BENDER MKI is famous for being used by Jeff Beck of the Yardbirds era and Pete Townsend of The Who. This model is based on the sound of "Spiders From Mars" Mick Ronson, who supported David Bowie's sound during the ZIGGY era. The germanium transistor is used for the "Spiders From Mars" sound, and it is a perfect match for Les Paul and other instruments.BassThis is an early serial #201 model without DC jack.
It runs on 9V dry cell batteries only.
