Late Edo period kotsuzumi (small drum) old body with odd-shaped canna

Old kotsuzumi (kotsuzumi) drum with lacquer maki-e box. It is believed to have been made in the late Edo period. The upper part of the body is decorated with "Hyakusoku Kanna" and the lower part with "Arashi Kanna". The kanna (carving) is in different stripes all the way to the center of the sound passages. It is thought to have been made in Awa in the late Edo period. It is made of cherry wood core and has a firm and powerful tone.

Outer diameter of the body: 100mm-99mm (not a perfect circle)
Leather mouth thickness: 10 mm
Wind-breaking diameter: 31 to 32 mm (not a perfect circle)
Otoe diameter: 29mm (Since we do not have a dedicated caliper, we cut a piece of thick paper and calculated the dimensions just before it rubs.)
Weight: 495 grams
Condition
A part of the upper part of the nipple pouch has peeling off of Urushi lacquer, floating Maki-e, and cracks scattered around the pouch. There are floating Urushi lacquer, Maki-e peeling and chipping on the outer edge of the leather mouth.
