Knaggs Guitars Steve Stevens SSC Tier1 Vintage Burst
This very special Knaggs Steve Stevens SSC Tier 1 model has a classic mahogany body with an exceptional carved maple top with a tight tiger strip figure.
Unique to any other Knaggs SSC made is the spectacular and exceptionally dark 1-piece Brazilian Rosewood neck, the Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard with SSC inlays, and a Brazilian Rosewood head stock veneer with the SSC Ray Gun. The best pieces or brazilian rosewood are the dark ones - this piece is among the best that I’ve ever received on any guitar. The only other one close is the Knaggs Sheyenne #1. It has nice dimensions / thicknesses and the feel is awesome.
Finished in VintageBurst gloss, the flame and coloring on the top is gorgeous. The back mahogany body is a very nice reddish finish and looks outstanding in contrast to the ultra dark Brazilian rosewoood neck and headstock backside. This very resonant guitar has Bare Knuckle SSC humbucking pickups for a large killer sound. The Bare Knuckle pickups faithfully reproduce the tones of the ‘57 and ‘58 era PAF’s with smooth natural sustain, and articulate pick dynamics. Low notes are warm and full, with sweet and mellow highs.
With a 24&¾ scale length, a 1&11/16 nut, and 12” radius’d Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, it will feel very comfortable. The design of the SS allows for excellent upper-fret access. Tuners are Kluson with gold HW. The nut is bone.

We ship generally on Mondays after payment in full has cleared bank accounts. We generally use FedEx International, FedEx Air, and FedEx Ground. However, we will use whatever service the Customer desires. Artistic Guitars packs well, and photo-graphs the packing for your added protection. We are not responsible for Finish checking when going to cold weather climates. We recommend a minimum of 1-day ambient temperature acclimatization before opening the box.
Returns are very rare but have happened. If an item is to be returned for ANY REASON, it must be approved by Artistic Guitars beforehand. Returns must be complete and in the original packaging with all accessories and complete documentation (COA’s, Warranty Card, keys, tools etc.), show no signs of wear or use. All returns will incur a 20% restocking fee (NO EXCEPTIONS). Items which are not normally stocked ("Special Orders", close-outs, previously-owned guitars, layaways, etc.) are not returnable. A 48 hour approval period may be granted on items, only if agreed to at the time of sale. New items not applicable. The Customer is responsible for all shipping charges on returned items, both to and from, and these charges as well as bank wire or transaction fees will be deducted from any refunds or credits along with any costs incurred in bringing the returned item back to it's original condition.
