1960 Kay Speed Demon Cherry
Now available on consignment, a 1960s Kay Speed Demon!
This original 60s Kay guitar is in decent shape for its age, having a laminated maple body, bolt-on mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, and an added vintage B6 Bigsby tailpiece.
Both pickups have been replaced with gold foils, and the bridge has been replaced with a abr1 style. It's also been professionally refretted at some stage making the guitar infinitely more playable as well.
The guitar still retains its original kluson deluxe strip tuners, and its faded cherry finish which looks more like burnt orange due to significant fading. Its setup to play well with a low action, a straight neck, and is great fun to play with the added bigsby.
