1942 Kalamazoo KGN-12 Oriole in excellent condition. This Kalamazoo had a professional neck reset before arriving at our shop. Some shrinkage to the black tuner buttons, but they function well. This KGN-12 is ladder braced and was constructed with a spruce top, maple back and sides, and a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The neck has a width of 1 11/16" at the nut, a depth of 0.98” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.11” at the ninth fret. The guitar has a 25” scale and weighs 3.93 lbs. A cool looking guitar featuring tortoise binding on both top and back that contrasts nicely with the maple sides, a great firestripe pickguard, and a comfortable deep carve C shaped neck profile. Comes with the original tan softshell case.
