1980 Ibanez Japan AS400 Neck Through MIJ Super 70 Dry Z pickups | EXTREMELY RARE! As200

1980 Ibanez AS400 Made in Japan!

This is one of the more desirable and rare vintage Ibanez models to date. The AS-400 model was only made for one year in the FujiGen factory. It’s essentially a neck through AS200 with some higher specs. Very few were made, and thus they are exceedingly rare. If you need one in your collection, here is a great opportunity! The guitar is in wonderful condition overall with only minimal binding discoloration and the slightest traces of use. The original pickups were out at one point but are now back in the guitar. The pickups are Super 70’s with the Z stamp. We assume they are a special pickup for this model or a hybrid of the Dry–Z pickups. The guitar had the pickguard and tuners changed some years ago with the tuners being high-grade Gotoh but the original tuners are included and can be put back with ease. Comes with the original hardshell case.

Weight: 8.3 lbs.
