Description

This 1963 Gretsch White Falcon is shown here in its original and clean White finish. Due to the high costs of this top-of-the-line semi-hollow Gretsch, production was somewhat limited, making this addition to our showroom very exciting for us! When writing this description, we were going back and forth on how to describe this guitar, and we landed the nickname “Country Gentleman in Emperor’s Clothing”, which frankly, is true! The obvious difference between the two is that Gretsch tailored its White Falcon with all of the most elaborate and beautiful options that Gretsch had to offer. This includes Gretsch’s bejeweled gold plated knobs, gold sparkle binding, Grover Imperial tuners, and a Gretsch Bigsby. That’s before you even get into the instrument’s tone modification controls, FilterTron pickups, and other varied specs to provide you with a completely customizable sound from your guitar! You might also notice that in addition to the “zero fret”, this piece also features slanted frets above the 12th fret to provide better intonation.

Overall Condition: 9.5
