2015 Gibson SJ200 Standard Owned by Danny Kalb Sunburst
2015 Gibson SJ-200 Standard w/OHSC Owned by Blues Legend Danny Kalb of the Blues Project in Very Good Condition. This Guitar was owned and played by Danny Kalb in his final years till he passed in 2022. With his long time 60's J-200 now unplayable and considerably worn this SJ200 was gifted to him by a well known celebrity who I am currently not in the liberty of mentioning. Danny Kalb was the founding member of The Blues Project in 1960's (which later included Al Kooper pre BST) and recorded 3 Albums with them. Before that he was well known in the 60's Folk and Acoustic Blues community of which he was considered one of the very best Guitarists of the Genre. This 2015 Gibson SJ200 Standard conforms to the normal specs of these models and has onboard Piezo & Mic Electronics. It shows normal honest play wear as well as a small section on the bottom rim which has a finish bubble (see photo) and some discoloration on the heel cap. A copy of a Letter of Authenticity from Danny's Brother Jonathan Kalb who is an exceptional Professional Bluesman in his own right will be included with the guitar. This is a rare opportunity to purchase an instrument owned and played by an important member of the 1960's NYC Blues Scene history. No returns on International Sales. Buyer may return an instrument for any reason immediately following the 24 hour approval period and must contact GCG immediately for Return Authorization. Instruments must be returned no later than 7 business days after the 24 hour approval period and from the time Return Authorization is issued. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and Insurance Costs. Full refund will be given after Instrument is returned and inspected. Refund will be returned in the same method that the buyer paid for the instrument.
