~1955 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black

First time on market.
Here’s the skinny………
This is a 54-56 Gibson LP Custom.
It was pro refinished in 1968 (you would never know from 2 feet away) so it has no s/n (if it’s an early ‘54, it never had one).
At the time of the refin, its was given a 1968 wiring harness , 68 Gibson TOM with nylon saddles, featherweight Gibson stop, Pat Pending Gold Grover’s & a 1st version ‘68 Lifton hardshell case. Might be a factory refin, because of the quality & matching changed parts, but no proof.
All else original except the switch tip.
No Breaks/Repairs. A couple finish cracks where the stop tail studs were reinstalled. Nick in the paint on the top.
Original pickups measure 8.25 (N) , 8.00(Br).
Nut width 1.7
Big 50’s neck measuring .92 at the 1st & .98 at the 12th
Original fretless wonder frets that show a little wear.
Weighs 8.38 lbs !!!!
All in all a really great 50’s vintage Gibson at less than half of an all original example.
