Gibson / 1963 Hummingbird Cherry Sunburst

Vintage sound with a sense of openness created by the plastic bridge/17 degree head and regular neck.

Spruce body top.
Cherry sunburst is faded and has an orangey texture.
This natural aging can only be achieved with vintage models.
The pickguard is a single tone design unique to the early period.

The body side backs are made of mahogany, and the reddish color of the paint remains quite vivid.

The fingerboard is made of Hakaranda, which has a sweet look with a slight reddish tint, and is a good quality wood, as if it were a vintage.

The pegs have been replaced with recent Cruson Deluxe tuners, which work very smoothly.

The bridge has a repair mark and there is a crack repair on the upper first string side of the soundhole, but there are no problems in playing.

Plastic bridge pieces are rare to find, as the bridge itself is often replaced.
