Gibson 1999 CS Firebird V 8 Lbs. 4 Oz's. TV Yellow with Upgrades & Free Setups. If your a Bird head like me then you know exactly how rare this Bird is. Prior to being traded the last one listed was 6 years ago, so these don't pop up often. I missed the opportunity in 1999 to purchase one and this one then took 26 years to obtain.

The instrument just went thru the shop receiving a clean bill of health. The geometry of the build is spot on. We just completed a full setup using feeler gauges and straight edges to insure low buzz free action.

All of the upgrades are excellent choices and the instrument can be turned back to its Original Condition. All Original parts that are included.

For its age the instrument is in excellent condition not showing any real signs of use. There is a chip in the Black Head Stock Veneer by the B string. You will not find any rash or worming through the finish. The Head Stock is starting to show checking with age, but is Free of Cracks or Repaired Cracks. The neck is a Comfortable C. It isn't full enough for me or I would be keeping it, but it is not the slim taper found on Gibson USA. There isn't a COA or do I know if in 1999 Gibson issued them, but I confirmed it to be a Custom Shop Instrument from Gibson Custom Service. Check out the inlay. It is gorgeous!
