Description

Here’s a superb 1964 Gibson Firebird III in the rare custom color Ember Red! This example has some great wear and patina, and the weather checking throughout really gives the guitar some fantastic character. The vibrant finish combined with the rich rosewood of the fretboard and patina’d pickguard is a stunning contrast, and the guitar looks just as good as it plays and sounds! This neck is full and fits in the hand nicely, and this guitar maintains its original, large fretwire with plenty of life left. The two original mini-humbuckers are balanced and quite hot; perfect for pushing a tube amp for an incredible sound. Thanks to the design of the Firebird body, every note is easily accessible, so you really can enjoy all this guitar has to offer. The guitar is fully original and includes its original black hardshell case with gold lining.

Overall Condition: 7.5, playwear, weather checking and patina
