A Unique 1983 Gibson Explorer that has a Beautiful Professional Refin in Metallic Green, White, and Metallic Red. In the early 1980s Gibson produced an American Flag and British Union Jack Explorer guitar. This high quality and expensive finish work makes us think the owner might have been going for an Italian Flag Explorer. Google tells us that 13 countries actually have this color combination, so take your pick. The guitar features Two Original Dirty Finger Pickups, Factory Gibson Branded Kahler Tremolo, Gold Hardware, Single Ply Pickguard, and the Serial Number & Made In USA stamp visible on the back of the headstock. Original Pots appear to be intact with the legible tone pot being a late 1980 date. No cracks or crack repairs. Very Good condition displaying some nicks, dings, and scratches. This well executed Finish is stunning to look at and you will not find another like it. Included is the Original Worn hardshell case (replaced latches).
