1960 Gibson ES-355M Red

I'm a big fan of mono ES-355's (which is why I buy so many 59-60's). This 60 ES-355 mono is from mid year-early enough to get the black bonnet knobs and the amber switch tip and long guard. Shortly after, they went to the reflector knobs, white switch tip and short guard. The neck is slim but not too slim. The pickups are PAFs (double white in the neck, black in the bridge). The covers have been off and were in the case. I put the original covers back on but they are not soldered. The previous owner apparently didn't like the gold hardware so most of the gold was removed from the metal parts. They are all, however, original with traces of gold visible. Case is brown with pink Gibson badged. It is vintage correct but not original.
