1965 Gibson ES-335 Cherry

A WIDE nut, NICKEL parts, BIG neck, ALL ORIGINAL, transitional "Block Marker" ES-335 from very early 1965. Very desirable, this is just before the change to small nut width, chrome parts, and trapeze tailpiece. This beautiful Cherry finish 335 has the "custom made" plaque covering the stud holes and a "Lyre" tailpiece added by the factory. In great condition, she plays so fine and the pickups are "PAF" like in sound... 8.75 lbs. Play it with the tailpiece, or quickly convert it to stud for a better seat and angle. The guitar comes with booklet, some of the tags, and original black case. This is a real professional, rock n roll guitar from 1965... the best guitar Gibson was making at the time for rock and blues... and just before things went downhill...
