1966 Gibson ES-175 in Polaris White in excellent condition. This rare Gibson is all original. This ES-175 was constructed with a maple laminate body, a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The guitar features two patent number humbuckers with gold covers and gold hardware throughout. The neck measures 1 21/32” at the nut, has a depth of 0.85” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.00” at the ninth fret. The guitar has a 24 ¾” scale and weighs 5.32 lbs. This ES-175 has a superbly cool look with a rare factory original Polaris White finish, a “Custom” plaque on the tailpiece, and a phenomenal sounding set of patent number humbuckers. It works equally well as a jazz box or a big sounding rock guitar, as evidenced by Izzy Stradlin's use of a white ES-175 on the first Guns N’ Roses record. It comes with a more recent brown Gibson hardshell case.
