The 59" inherits the soul of the 1959 J-45 and brings it back to life in the modern age.
The reproduction is astonishing, and the charm of the original has been thoroughly pursued.
Of particular note is the neck, which was produced using 3D data from a 1959 J-45. The width of the nut is 42.5mm, and it features a thick grip that fits comfortably in the hand. The fit is as if you are holding a vintage guitar itself, which attracts players.
The large stud screws that hold the adjustable saddles, which were optional from 1956 to 1959, have been faithfully reproduced in every detail. The moment you see this detail, you will be impressed.

Also, compared to the current J-45, the soundhole position has been shifted 2 to 3 mm toward the bridge.
This design allows the soundhole ring to be perfectly circular without covering the fingerboard end.
In Gibson's opinion, this model is scalloped as opposed to the original non-scalloped, which makes it sound more like a '59 vintage.
The wild tone unique to this model and the percussive nuance of the adjustable saddle are in perfect harmony.
