Gibson Custom Shop 2024 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul VOS
This is a "1959 Les Paul VOS" model with a beautiful flame that changes expression depending on the angle you look at it.
The body is finished in Lemon Burst, which reproduces the color of a sunburst just before it fades to a lemon drop.
The fingerboard is made of dark shade rosewood.
The hide gluing and parts have been carried over from the True Historic series, and the headstock logo shape and silkscreen tint, fingerboard inlay material, vintage taper pots, and bumblebee type oil capacitors have been adopted as specs from 2019.
The neck is Authentic 59 Medium "C", a shape introduced in 2018 and very slightly thinner than earlier '59 models.
The pickups are un-potted Custombuckers.
There is a relatively large scratch on the body back, some scratches and pockmarks, and a tiny dent on the side of the body (near the elbow).
There is almost no fret wear, and there are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
