Gibson Custom Shop 2018 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul VOS
This is a "1959 Les Paul VOS" model with a three-dimensional flame top that changes expression depending on the angle you look at it.
This one is finished in the Royalty Burst finish that was introduced in 2018.
The body has hide-glued maple and mahogany body, True Historic parts, new body carvings, a neck shape that is slightly thinner than ever, re-measured from an original 1959 Les Paul. The body back has a slightly faded aniline-dyed color, and the truss rod cover has a cream tint.
The pickups are equipped with two custombuckers.
The pickup rings are slightly discolored and there are several large and small black stand marks around the neck heel.
There is a tiny dent and several scuff marks on the body back (near the end pins), and several pockmarks on the back of the neck.
The truss rod is loose, but the neck is currently straight.
The frets have some dents mainly in the low position, and about 80% of the frets are left.
