Description

Gibson Custom Shop 2010 Inspired by Series Don Felder “Hotel California” 1959 Les Paul VOS

This is the "Don Felder "Hotel California" 1959 Les Paul" model with VOS finish, produced in a limited edition of 150 pieces worldwide.

This model is an exact replica of the 1959 Les Paul played by Don Felder in the Eagles' classic song "Hotel California", using the Custom Shop's scanning technology.

The top is made of the finest flamed maple, as slim and shiny as Felder's own instrument, and the finish is a striking shade of red called "Felder Bust". The neck shape is slim like the original, and the tuning knobs are scratched.
Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups are installed, but in reverse order of the original specs, with 1 on the back and 2 on the front.

There is paint damage on the back of the neck (2nd~3rd frets), a scratch under the bridge, several scratches on the top of the body, many scratches on the back of the body, and several scratches and shallow dents on the back of the neck.

The frets are not dented and there are about 80% remaining.
The neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
