Gibson Custom Shop 2021 Historic Collection 60th Anniversary 1961 Les Paul SG Custom w/ Sideway Vibrola VOS

This 1961 Les Paul SG Custom was made to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the SG.

It is a custom model with 3 pickups, ebony fingerboard, diamond head inlays, block inlays, gold hardware, and Grover tuners, and has the look of a higher-end model.

The features of the earliest models have been reproduced, including sideways vibrato.

The neck is an Authentic '61 Thin Profile, replicating the thin shape typical of 1961models, and features vintage tapered pots and Black Beauty capacitors.

The pickups are equipped with un-potted Custombuckers.

A hole has been drilled in the internal mechanism of the side vibrato roller. (No problem in use).

There is a general color burns to the finish, stand marks at the base of the head, peeling of the gold plating on the sideway vibro-roller, and several lines of darkening and a few pockmarks on the body back.

There is light wear to the first to three frets of the plain strings, but there is almost no wear to the rest of the body.
The neck and truss rod has no problems.
