This anniversary model was produced to celebrate the 60th anniversary of 1960, the last year of the original Les Paul.
This is one of the "Version 1" (i.e., almost 59 model), which is the early 1960s model that inherited the neck shape and plastic parts of the 59 style as it was.
A beautifully grained flamed maple with flecks is finished in an exquisite Antiquity Burst color, with a hint of red from the well-faded cherry.
The headstock logo shape and silkscreen color, fingerboard inlay material, vintage taper pot and bumblebee type oil capacitors are all 2019 specs.
The pickups are two un-potted Alnico 3 Custombuckers.
There is a very small dent on the back edge (near the back panel), several pockmarks and scratches throughout the body back, and scuffs on the body sides, but no noticeable damage.
The frets are barely worn, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
A special 60th Anniversary metal plaque and certificate of authenticity are also included.
