Freshly inspected and set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech. This remarkable 1959 Reissue Les Paul Standard is a detailed copy of the actual vintage guitar pictured on Page 40 of Yasuhiko Iwanade's historic book, "The Beauty of the Burst," which pays tribute to Gibson's magnificent Sunburst Les Pauls made between 1958 and 1960. These guitars are among the most highly prized electric guitars ever made. The book features lavish full-color photos of these beautiful instruments, which up until now, was the closest guitarists were likely to come to an actual Burst.
There have been many fine reissues made by the Gibson Custom Shop but none specifically replicating the historic guitars documented in Iwanade's book. Now you can own one, if you act fast. Only limited quantities of these guitars were distributed to select Gibson dealers. Get yours now while they're available.
Feel free to give us a call in the Shop for an in-hand description or to ask any questions you may have. See below for more details and specifications.
