2002 1954 Les Paul Oxblood

Jeff Beck, one of the three legendary guitarists who sadly passed away on January 10, 2023. Jeff Beck used a gold top Les Paul from 1954, which he mainly used from just after the formation of Bogart & Apis until around the time of the Blow by Blow album. This model is a faithful reproduction of the original Oxblood, which recently fetched 206 million dollars at a Sotheby's auction. Oxblood means cow's blood, and the name is derived from the coloring of the body. The model is thoroughly detailed with Schaller rotomatic pegs, one-ply black adjustable cover, toggle plate without logo, speed knob, pickguard, thicker neck grip, and rear pickup mounted extremely close to the bridge. A one-of-a-kind Les Paul and a must-see for fans, this model also attracted attention when Takahiro Matsumoto of B'z used this model on his 2019 album NEW LOVE. Mr. Matsumoto himself reviewed the playability of the bar bridge and praised the model, saying, "Even with the bar bridge, the tuning is stable.
