1966 Gibson B-45-12 in excellent condition. This Gibson has been refinished and has some interesting modifications, more commonly seen on Martin guitars, namely the addition of herringbone top binding and a centerseam inlay on the back. All the work is professionally done and gives the guitar a unique look. The guitar has a replacement pearloid trussrod cover. This B-45-12 was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge and saddle. The neck has a width of 1 7/8” at the nut, a depth of 0.92” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.13” at the twelfth fret. The guitar has a 24.75” scale and weighs 5.60 lbs. This 12 string produces a big, chimey, lovely sound and is an easy player with low action and a comfortable neck. The guitar was autographed by Leo Kottke on the back of the headstock. Includes a non-original hardshell case.
