Here's a 1959 Gibson Melody Maker in Sunburst finish. No breaks or cracks. Very clean overall example! This the 3/4" short scale version, built from the pinnacle year of guitar building from Gibson! All the electronics are original, with 1959 dated pots. The guitar features a single cutaway, solid mahogany body with sunburst finish top, beautiful dark Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, open-back strip tuners, a repro wrap-around bridge, original "Fat" single coil bridge pickgup with black cover, master volume & tone controls with black top hat knobs. Playability is exceptional, with incredibly easy playing low action. 1 9/16" nut width, with a 23" scale. The pickup lives up to its name, as it sounds fat! Also very clear and articulate. It really sounds fantastic. Such a cool guitar here. HSC included...
