Les Paul Custom was released in 1954 as a high-end model of Les Paul.
It was released with luxurious specifications such as gorgeous laminated binding and gold parts for more than 100$ more than Les Paul Goldtop at that time.
In 1957, "Seth Lover" and "Walter Fuller" developed the "PAF" humbucking pickup, which is said to have defined the Gibson sound, The Les Paul Custom was also equipped with humbucking pickups, a style that is still familiar today.
This model is based on the Les Paul Custom made in 1957, and is made of all mahogany with ebony fingerboard.
The pickups are 57 Classic.
The pickups are moderately sticky, but respond quickly to picking, and you can feel the separation of each string.
