You can choose between HP (High Peak) mode for a heavy British sound and LP (Low Peak) mode for a more natural and clean F-type sound. This is a popular overdrive pedal with a clear distortion with a moderately solid sound image that is not overly sweet, and a moderately comped and sticky sound quality. This pedal is from the V2.0 period, the next generation after the V1.7 period (just before it became the V2 model), according to the serial number.
