The ATTACK control allows for a wide range of sound creation. The ATTACK control allows for a wide range of sound creation, and with the ATTACK knob turned fully to the right, it can be used as a limiter. The effect ON/OFF switching uses a special true bypass method where the signal only passes through one circuit of the switch when bypassed. Production was temporarily discontinued in 2018, but has since been revived under the name "SILKY GROOVE" to produce sounds that match modern music The sound is now in tune with today's music. However, there were many requests for the original "Silky Comp" sound, and it was revived in a small production run. It is now very difficult to obtain. This is a beautiful item with almost no signs of use.
