The 1964 Fender Vibroverb is a classic amp that’s highly regarded for its vintage tone and versatility. It's a part of the Blackface era, known for its clean headroom and beautiful reverb and vibrato effects. The Vibroverb was a 40-watt combo with a 1x15" speaker, which gives it a somewhat warmer, punchier sound compared to other Fender amps like the Vibrolux or Princeton, which had 10" speakers.
One of the defining features of the Vibroverb is its deep, rich reverb and smooth tremolo/vibrato effect, which were revolutionary at the time. It was also the amp used on some notable live performances, including the famous live recordings of the early 60s.
