The original Custom Telecaster was released from around 1959 to 1969. The Fender USA American Vintage '62 Custom Telecaster is a reissue of the 1962 Custom Telecaster, featuring a rosewood fingerboard and maple neck with a flat slab board, a 3-ply pickguard, and a vintage spiral-type spiral guard. The slab board, 3-ply pick guard, and vintage spiral bridge saddle are all faithfully reproduced to the specifications of the era. This model allows you to experience the original 1962 Custom Telecaster at an affordable price.
