Now available on consignment, a 1982 Fender 'The Strat' in a factory white finish.
This model was Fender's attempt at a deluxe version of the Fender Stratocaster at the time. Featuring gold plated brass hardware, a 4 bolt neck, a smaller headstock, and the first generation of S1 switching to offer a broader variety of options between the 3 pickups.
This particular example is in factory white with a maple fretboard and matching headstock which you don't see often, there is some yellowing to the finish as shown in the photos.
The original frets show some play wear, and the body/neck have some dings of course. Its recently been setup with 10s and plays very well, definitely the best playing example of this model we have had in store. Otherwise the guitar presents in good original condition including the original gold hardware.
Includes a correct 80s reissue tweed case with original paperwork/warranty card.
