Fender 1968 Telecaster Mini Hum Modified
This is a laminated Maple 1968 Telecaster.
The guitar is finished with a "six-skin finish" using polyester for the base coat and a nitrocellulose lacquer for the color layer and topcoat, and the neck is finished with lacquer .
The neck pickup has been modified to a recent years’ Gibson mini humbucker.
The neck is "3MAY68B", the pickup date is '68, the volume pot is '65 (250k ohms), the tone pot is '65 (1M ohms), and a high pass capacitor is installed.
It has a vintage look with weather checks and discoloration throughout due to age, paint melting around the strap pins, paint peeling on the body and neck, and some minor dents and scratches.
It has been re-fretted and re-nutted, and there is almost no fret wear, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
