Now available on consignment, a fantastic example of a 1968 Fender Telecaster in its original blonde finish with maple cap fingerboard!
This particular example as you can see is in great shape, having been well looked after and with little changes. There are some bumps and bruises on the body, and some mild finish checking on both the body and neck as shown in the photos.
The original hardware has some mild tarnish, which matches the clean original white 3-ply pickguard. Both original pickups are healthy and balanced, and the wiring harness appears mostly untouched except for an added treble bleed to the volume pot. Both pots date to early 1966, and this example still retains all cloth wiring which is phased out to plastic later in this year. The original frets do have some wear, however they play well up and down the neck.
A fantastic original example of a late 60s maple cap Fender Telecaster!
Includes its original black tolex case in clean condition, and its original bridge cover.
